Algemene voorwaarden
1. Wie en wat
Deze voorwaarden gelden voor het gebruik van de Mealy-app, aangeboden door Vreeburg & partners, Nederland ("wij"). Door Mealy te gebruiken ga je hiermee akkoord.
2. Wat Mealy is
Mealy helpt je maaltijden plannen en boodschappen doen: weekmenu's, recepten, boodschappenlijsten en prijsinformatie van supermarkten.
3. Abonnement
Mealy werkt met een abonnement van €9,99 per maand of €39,99 per jaar, na een gratis proefperiode van 7 dagen. Tijdens de testfase via TestFlight is de app volledig gratis. Het abonnement loopt via je Apple-account, verlengt automatisch en is tot 24 uur voor verlenging opzegbaar via je App Store-abonnementen. Prijzen kunnen per land verschillen; de prijs in de App Store is leidend. Restitutie verloopt via Apple.
4. Prijzen zijn indicatief
Supermarktprijzen in Mealy komen uit openbare bronnen en worden regelmatig ververst, maar wij garanderen niet dat ze op elk moment exact overeenkomen met de prijs in de winkel. Een prijs met "~" is nadrukkelijk een schatting. Aan prijsinformatie, totalen en besparingsindicaties kunnen geen rechten worden ontleend.
5. Recepten en allergenen
Recepten worden deels met behulp van kunstmatige intelligentie samengesteld. Wij filteren op de allergenen en diëten die je opgeeft, maar dit vervangt nooit je eigen controle. Controleer bij (ernstige) allergieën of medische diëten altijd zelf de ingrediënten en de verpakking. Mealy geeft geen medisch of diëtistisch advies; voedingswaarden zijn indicatief.
6. Besparingen
Besparingsindicaties zijn gebaseerd op gepubliceerd onderzoek naar voedselverspilling (o.a. Voedingscentrum 2025, Milieu Centraal) en je eigen budget. Resultaten verschillen per huishouden; wij garanderen geen besparing.
7. Redelijk gebruik
Je gebruikt Mealy voor persoonlijk, niet-commercieel gebruik en probeert de app of onze systemen niet te verstoren, kopiëren of door te verkopen.
8. Intellectueel eigendom
De app, het merk Mealy en de inhoud (behalve merknamen en logo's van supermarkten, die aan hun eigenaren toebehoren) zijn van ons of onze licentiegevers.
9. Aansprakelijkheid
Mealy wordt geleverd "zoals hij is". Voor zover de wet dat toestaat zijn wij niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade of schade door onjuiste prijs-, product- of receptinformatie. Onze totale aansprakelijkheid is beperkt tot het bedrag dat je in de 12 maanden ervoor aan Mealy hebt betaald. Niets in deze voorwaarden beperkt rechten die je als consument dwingend toekomen.
10. Beëindiging en wijzigingen
Je kunt altijd stoppen door je abonnement op te zeggen en de app te verwijderen. Wij kunnen de app en deze voorwaarden wijzigen; bij belangrijke wijzigingen informeren we je in de app.
11. Recht
Op deze voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Geschillen worden voorgelegd aan de bevoegde rechter in Nederland, onverminderd dwingend consumentenrecht.

1. Who and what
These terms govern your use of the Mealy app, offered by Vreeburg & partners, the Netherlands ("we"). By using Mealy you agree to them.
2. What Mealy is
Mealy helps you plan meals and shop: weekly menus, recipes, grocery lists and supermarket price information.
3. Subscription
Mealy uses a €9.99/month subscription after a 3-day free trial. During the TestFlight test phase the app is entirely free. Billing runs through your Apple account, renews automatically, and can be cancelled up to 24 hours before renewal via your App Store subscriptions. Prices may vary by country; the App Store price is decisive. Refunds are handled by Apple.
4. Prices are indicative
Supermarket prices in Mealy come from public sources and are refreshed regularly, but we do not guarantee they match the in-store price at any given moment. A price marked "~" is explicitly an estimate. No rights can be derived from price information, totals or savings indications.
5. Recipes and allergens
Recipes are composed partly using artificial intelligence. We filter for the allergens and diets you specify, but this never replaces your own check. If you have (serious) allergies or a medical diet, always verify ingredients and packaging yourself. Mealy provides no medical or dietetic advice; nutritional values are indicative.
6. Savings
Savings indications are based on published food-waste research (incl. Voedingscentrum 2025, Milieu Centraal) and your own budget. Results vary per household; we guarantee no savings.
7. Fair use
Mealy is for personal, non-commercial use; do not disrupt, copy or resell the app or our systems.
8. Intellectual property
The app, the Mealy brand and its content (except supermarket names and logos, which belong to their owners) are ours or our licensors'.
9. Liability
Mealy is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or damage from incorrect price, product or recipe information. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Mealy in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
10. Termination and changes
You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may change the app and these terms; for material changes we will notify you in the app.
11. Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer law.
